Between 1981 and 1984, in a house in Louisville, Kentucky, three people recorded 106 sessions with a voice that opened every one of them with “I am Ra.” The transcripts became The Law of One. Whatever you make of the source, it is a remarkably consistent cosmology — and it talks about vibration, density and geometry the way the plates do. Here are its load-bearing ideas, with the sessions they come from.
You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are.
Everything is one Creator experiencing itself; separation is the illusion the rest of the material is about learning through.
The One expresses itself through three distortions, in order: free will (the first, also called the Law of Confusion — nothing may be forced on you, including the truth), love (the creative Logos), and light (the stuff everything is built from). Love/light is the working name for reality.
Consciousness climbs through seven densities — vibratory bands, not places. You are reading this in the third.
Third density exists for one decision: to polarise toward service to others or service to self. Both are valid paths back to the One. Ra gives the thresholds bluntly: to graduate positively you must be 51% oriented to others; negatively, 95% to self. The lukewarm repeat the grade.
Every 25,000 years, and decisively after three such cycles, a planet is harvested: those who have chosen move on to fourth density. Ra placed Earth's harvest about thirty years after 1981 — which is why the material shadowed the 2012 talk — and described fourth density as a density of love and understanding.
An early experiment: a veil of forgetting was drawn between the conscious and unconscious mind, so that third-density beings would not remember they are the Creator. Choices made blind count for more. It is why nothing here can simply be told to you.
Everything that happens to you — illness, love, a difficult person, a crop circle in a wheat field — is catalyst: raw material offered to the self for growth. Unused catalyst is re-offered, sometimes as the body's own distortions.
Beings of higher densities who volunteer to be born here, behind the veil, to lighten the planet's vibration. Ra estimated about 65 million on Earth in 1981. Their tell: a lifelong sense of not being from around here.
Ra describes itself as a sixth-density social memory complex from Venus, a humble messenger of the Law of One
, speaking for the Confederation of Planets. It says it visited Egypt some 11,000 years ago and raised the Great Pyramid by thought, as a place of healing and initiation, and regrets how the teaching was turned into priestcraft.
