Privacy

Nothing leaves your device.

Slowtide, on the web at iamra.lol and as the iPhone app, collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared. This page says exactly what the app touches.

Microphone

The free plate can listen to you sing, hum or play. When you tap Use microphone, the device asks for permission. The sound is analysed live on your device to find its pitch and overtones, drives the plate, and is discarded in the same instant. It is never recorded, stored, uploaded or sent anywhere. Turning the permission off in Settings stops the feature and nothing else.

What is stored on your device

Two preferences, kept in local storage so the app opens the way you left it: your theme (dark, light, or the visionary palette) and nothing else. No identifiers are created.

Network

The app works offline. It goes online only when you ask it to: the ⓘ source panel loads a reference image from Wikimedia Commons, and links to sources, studies and the Law of One archive open the sites you tap. Those sites have their own privacy policies. The web version also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this ever changes, this page changes first and the app's store listing will say so. Questions: finley.matthewt@gmail.com.
